Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Kelina Brauss

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It's going to be a year full of laughter, learning, and lots of adventures, and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us! Let me take a second to introduce myself.

I am originally from Mount Juliet, Tennessee; however, I have called Chattanooga home for going on 7 years now. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am the youngest of four children, and my dad is an Army veteran, who honorably served our country for 23 years. My husband and I have celebrated 5 years marriage this year, and we have one son, Rowan, and one on the way!

This is my seventh year teaching third grade, and it is my third year as a Hixson Elementary wildcat! It is my mission to create a learning environment where all students can grow and succeed. I look forward to an amazing 2021-2022 school year!
