Hello My Name Is...

Alexandria Winesburgh

Hi! My Name is Alexy Winesburgh! I am 30 years young! I currently have three children attending a Hixson school as well, Smith 6th Grade, Brynlie in 4rd Grade, and my youngest Kalel in 2nd Grade. My husband and I both work within education, and we both teach within the Hixson schools! This will be the beginning of my 9th year at Hixson Elementary!

I was born and raised in Hixson, Tennessee, where I attended Big Ridge Elementary for First through 5th grade. I then attended Hixson Middle School and then graduated from Hixson High School. I played the Clarinet and Violin throughout elementary and middle school. I also spent 11 years on the softball fields as a catcher.  

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education PreK-3rd from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I also have a minor in History & Social Studies. I have obtained my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
